<div><strong>GENERAL RESPONSIBILITY:</strong></div><ul><li>Fabricate and build specialized tooling and equipment as required by production.</li><li>Maintain all production and fabrication tooling and equipment to a quality working order.</li></ul><div><br></div><div><strong>SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:</strong></div><ul><li>Maintain and encourage a safe work environment and good housekeeping.</li><li>Capable of building tools, dies jigs and fixtures to designed prints and/or instructions as required by the Production facilities.</li><li>To produce and construct prototype tooling and be able to develop required results from concepts.</li><li>Inspect, diagnose and repair all dies as required.</li><li>Troubleshoot problems and make required repairs in the presses to minimize production downtime.</li><li>Complete time tickets with accurate information (times, WO#'s, Plant #'s)</li><li>Constantly improve die functions.</li><li>Ability to operate all standard tool room machinery and equipment; Lathe, Grinders, Milling Machines etc.</li><li>Ability to read blueprints and use all standard measuring tools and equipment. Work to tolerances demanded by the blueprint.</li><li>Report all accidents, incidents and non-conformances to Tool Room Supervisor.</li><li>Work in compliance and conform to QMS, EMS and H&S standards, Policies, Objectives, Impact & Aspect and Hazard and Risks</li><li>Work as a Team Member in all situations.</li><li>All other duties assigned by Manager/Supervisor as required.<br><br></li></ul><div><strong>EDUCATION REQUIRED:</strong></div><ul><li>Tool & Die Certificate.</li><li>Grade 12 Diploma.<br><br></li></ul><div><strong>EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:</strong></div><ul><li>2 years die build experience.</li><li>Capable of reading and working from blueprints and standard drawings.</li><li>Progressive and Hand Transfer Dies a must.
