*Overview* We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dental Hygienist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in patient care, dental procedures, and office management, ensuring a positive experience for all patients. Prior experience with dental software such as Dentrix, knowledge of orthodontics, and bilingual abilities are highly valued. The position requires a professional who is detail-oriented, patient-focused, and committed to maintaining high standards of oral health care. *Duties* * Perform dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing teeth to remove plaque and tartar buildup * Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed * Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures * Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care * Maintain accurate patient records using Dentrix or similar dental software * Manage patient appointments, follow-ups, and billing processes * Support orthodontic procedures and assist with pediatric patient care when necessary * Ensure the sterilization of dental instruments and maintain infection control protocols * Provide excellent customer service by addressing patient questions and concerns in a professional manner * Collaborate with the dental team to create a welcoming and efficient office environment *Qualifications* * Valid Dental Hygienist license in accordance with state regulations * Experience with Dentrix or other dental management software preferred * Knowledge of orthodontics, pediatrics, and general dentistry procedures * Bilingual abilities are a plus to serve diverse patient populations * Prior experience in a dental office setting is highly desirable * Strong understanding of medical terminology relevant to dentistry * Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients of all ages * Ability to work well within a team-oriented environment * Commitment to maintaining high standards of infection control and safety protocols This position offers an engaging work environment where your skills will directly impact patients' oral health and overall well-being.
