The incumbent ensures that all infrastructures comply with <strong>quality, safety, and food safety standards</strong>, while maintaining a <strong>safe and efficient work environment</strong>.</p><p>This position requires close collaboration with the <strong>maintenance team</strong> and <strong>external contractors</strong> to ensure optimal performance of building systems.</p><p><strong>Services:</strong> Steam, potable water, wastewater, refrigeration, controlled-atmosphere rooms, etc.<br><strong>Buildings:</strong> Plant, warehouses, biomass facilities</p> <div>Responsibilities</div><div>Compliance with Standards and Regulations</div><ul> <li>Know and comply at all times with <strong>food quality and safety standards</strong>, <strong>occupational health and safety regulations</strong>, and <strong>company policies</strong>;</li> <li>Ensure that all infrastructures comply with applicable <strong>food safety regulations</strong> (HACCP, SQF).</li></ul> <div>Infrastructure Inspection, Maintenance, and Safety</div><ul> <li>Perform <strong>daily inspection, monitoring, operation, and cleaning rounds</strong> of building systems;</li> <li>Carry out <strong>preventive and corrective maintenance</strong> to ensure infrastructure functionality and reliability;</li> <li>Ensure cleanliness and safety of <strong>mechanical equipment and mechanical rooms</strong>;</li> <li>Prepare <strong>inspection and maintenance reports</strong>, documenting completed work and corrective recommendations;</li> <li>Record all interventions and work performed in the <strong>maintenance management system (CMMS)</strong>.</li></ul> <div>Infrastructure Improvement</div><ul> <li>Propose and implement <strong>infrastructure improvements</strong> aimed at increasing <strong>energy efficiency</strong> and reducing <strong>operating costs</strong>;</li> <li>Collaborate with internal teams to <strong>plan and execute infrastructure improvement projects</strong>.</li></ul> <div>Collaboration with Maintenance</div><ul> <li>Work collaboratively with the <strong>maintenance team</strong> to support and optimize the <strong>maintenance program</strong>;</li> <li>Participate in <strong>maintenance planning and follow-up meetings</strong>;</li> <li>Submit <strong>service or emergency requests</strong> to maintenance to resolve building system equipment issues.</li></ul> <div>Management of Specialized Equipment</div><ul> <li>Promptly inform the <strong>Refrigerated and Controlled-Atmosphere Warehouse Manager</strong> of any equipment issues or non-conformities.</li></ul> <div>Coverage and On?Call Responsibilities</div><ul> <li>Serve as a <strong>backup for the Wastewater Treatment Technician role</strong>;</li> <li>Participate in a <strong>rotating weekend schedule (one weekend out of two)</strong> covering all job responsibilities.</li></ul> <p><strong>Note:</strong> This job description is not exhaustive.
