Following a successful inaugural year, we are seeking three (3) passionate General Education Elementary Teachers to join our growing team. *Position Details* Role: Elementary Teacher (Grades K?6) Location: Andrew, Alberta Start Date: September 2026 Application Deadline: June 30, 2026 *Key Responsibilities & Qualifications* * STEM Integration: A core requirement for this role is the ability to design and deliver STEM-based lessons that are fully aligned with the Alberta Program of Study. Candidates must demonstrate how they will embed science, technology, engineering, and mathematics concepts into daily literacy, numeracy, and social studies instruction using rural contexts. * Electives & Physical Education: While the primary focus is general education, ability to teach electives (e.g., Arts, Robotics, Agriculture, or Career Technology) is a significant asset. Experience teaching Physical Education is also highly desirable to support our holistic program. *Candidate Qualifications* We are seeking educators who demonstrate a strong commitment to professional growth and student success. *Ideal candidates will possess:* * Professional Standards: A deep understanding of teacher competencies and growth as outlined in the Teaching Quality Standard. * Curriculum Expertise: Specialized training in the Alberta curriculum, with a particular focus on the required subject matter. * Technology Integration: The ability to leverage technology to enhance and personalize learning experiences. * Inclusive Practice: Proven experience with diverse learners, including creating Individualized Education Plans (I.E.P.'s), implementing varied strategies in inclusive classrooms, and monitoring student impact. * Pedagogical Approach: A commitment to differentiated teaching and assessment through structured, inquiry-based practices while facilitating learning through trust, empathy, and mutual respect.
