Education: Registered Apprenticeship certificate. or equivalent experience. Work site environment: Outdoors. Dusty. Tasks: Interpret blueprints, maps, drawings and specifications to plan methods or sequences of operation . Operate heavy equipment. Read blueprints, maps, drawings and specifications to determine work requirements . Clean and lubricate equipment and refill equipment tanks. Measure distance, volume, length and weight. Operate computer controlled equipment. Conduct pre-operational checks on equipment. Secure special attachments to equipment. Operate GPS (Global Positioning System) and other navigation equipment. Operate two-way radios and other communication equipment. Perform minor repairs to equipment. Area of work experience: Demolition. Type of industry experience: Industrial/commercial/institutional (ICI) construction. Transportation/travel information: Valid driver's licence. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Physically demanding. Attention to detail. Fast-paced environment. Screening questions: Do you have experience working in this field?.
