Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. Work site environment: Wet/damp. Noisy. Dusty. Odours. Dangerous. Hot. Cold/refrigerated. Work setting: Planing mill. Willing to relocate. Sawmill. Tasks: Recommend measures to improve productivity . Resolve work problems, provide technical advice and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality. Ensure that systems and equipment are operating efficiently and that proper maintenance and repairs are performed. Recommend personnel actions such as hiring and promotions. Co-ordinate work activities with other departments. Prepare production and other reports. Recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality. Supervise, co-ordinate and schedule (and possibly review) activities of workers. Monitor safety conditions. Train staff/workers in job duties, safety procedures and company policies. Supervision: More than 20 people. Sawmill machine operators. Transportation/travel information: Valid driver's licence. Own transportation. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Repetitive tasks. Physically demanding. Attention to detail. Combination of sitting, standing, walking. Ability to distinguish between colours.
