Determine precise geographic locations using global positioning systems (GPS) equipment, Conduct field surveys and operate survey instruments and computer equipment to measure distance, angles, elevations and contours, Record measurements and other information obtained during field survey activities. Participate in field surveys and operate survey instruments and devices, Keep records, measurements and other survey information in systematic order. Operate GPS (Global Positioning System) and other navigation equipment Fast-paced environment, Work under pressure, Tight deadlines, Attention to detail, Walking. Reliability, Team player, Dependability, Effective interpersonal skills, Organized. Job Type: Full-time Pay: $18.00-$22.00 per hour Benefits: * Flexible schedule Flexible language requirement: * French not required Ability to commute/relocate: * Corner Brook, NL: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred) Experience: * surveying: 1 year (preferred) Work Location: In person- Location Corner Brook, NL
