*Job Overview* We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Truck Dispatcher to coordinate and manage freight transportation operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for scheduling shipments, communicating with drivers and clients, and ensuring timely delivery of goods. This role requires strong communication skills, proficiency with transportation management systems, and the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. The Truck Dispatcher plays a vital role in maintaining smooth logistics operations within our supply chain network, including interactions with 3PL providers and shipping & receiving departments. *Responsibilities* * Coordinate daily truck schedules and routes using transportation management systems * Communicate effectively with drivers, clients, and internal teams via multi-line phone systems, ensuring clear and professional phone etiquette. * Enter data accurately into relevant systems, including freight details, shipping & receiving information, and shipment statuses. * Monitor freight movements to ensure on-time deliveries and resolve any issues or delays promptly through analysis skills and problem-solving. * Maintain detailed records of dispatch activities, shipment documentation, and communication logs. * Collaborate with the supply chain team to optimize routes and improve overall logistics efficiency. * Assist with shipping & receiving processes to coordinate inbound and outbound freight activities. * Provide analysis on dispatch operations to identify opportunities for process improvements. *Requirements* * Excellent data entry skills with high accuracy and attention to detail. * Strong analysis skills to interpret logistics data and troubleshoot issues effectively. * Proficiency in typing and managing multi-line phone systems with professional phone etiquette. * Effective communication skills for coordinating with drivers, clients, and internal teams. * Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining organization. Pay: $17.20-$31.20 per hour Work Location: In person
