Job Overview We are seeking for a Forklift Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a valid forklift license / certification, experience driving mobile equipment (bobcat, load lifter, CAT, terrain forklift), and able to drive in bad weather conditions (snow, rain, wind, hot) *If your certification / training has expired, the company will pay for the re-certification / re-training * DutiesMove reels from the yard to outsideUnload reels from trailers (dry van / flat deck)Load reels into trailer to ship to the customerGrade reels received by customerKanban Inventory of ReelsLoad scrap reels to be hauled to landfillReport issues / problems with the forklift / equipmentRemove snow when neededUnload row material (pallets, crates, flanges) from dry van QualificationsPrevious experience with mobile equipment is mandatoryExperience driving in the snow and bad conditions is an assetAbility to understand written and oral instructions and SOPsPunctuality, attendance and PPE are mandatoryAttention to detailAbility to countAbility to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.Willingness to learn new techniques and processes as needed.
