Focused on asphalt paving, concrete, municipal site services, landscape construction and other exterior construction, Forest has provided quality solutions for over 25 years.We are currently looking for a Skidsteer Operator/Asphalt Raker to join our growing team!Reporting directly to the Foreman, the Skidsteer operator/Asphalt Raker will be responsible for operating the skidsteer to load the spreader and preparing asphalt mix for rolling by raking the mix as it leaves the screed.Additional responsibilities include:Spreading asphalt efficiently while maintaining a good pace.Operating the skidsteer (bobcat to perform various tasksAssist the screed operator with the distribution of asphaltUse a variety of hand and power tools as well as operate equipment when neededFollow and promote Forest Contractor Ltd.?s safety program on the job siteShovel excess asphalt and sweep up debrisSignal operators to ensure the safe and effective moving of construction and paving materialsOther road construction duties as required\Qualified candidates will possess:A high school diploma or equivalentA valid G drivers licenseMinimum 2 years as an skidsteer operator/asphalt raker requiredConstruction experienced preferredMust be physically fit and be able to lift 70+ pounds on a regular basisWe offer a competitive wage and benefits plan together with excellent career growth potential.We thank all applicants in advance for their interest in this position, however, only those selected for an interview will be contacted.- Location Burlington, ON
