*Overview* We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Bookkeeping Supervisor to oversee our company's financial record-keeping operations. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in accounting software and a proven track record in managing bookkeeping functions. This role is vital for maintaining accurate financial data, ensuring compliance, and supporting strategic financial planning. The Bookkeeping Supervisor will lead a team responsible for managing accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, and account analysis, contributing to the overall financial health of the organization. *Duties* * Supervise daily bookkeeping operations, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of financial data entry and processing * Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, including invoice processing and collections * Perform account reconciliations for bank statements and general ledger accounts to ensure data integrity * Conduct account analysis to identify discrepancies or irregularities and resolve issues promptly * Manage payroll processing using accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero * Assist in budgeting processes by providing accurate financial reports and analysis * Maintain and update accounting records using various accounting software platforms * Train and support bookkeeping staff to ensure adherence to best practices and company policies * Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal controls * Perform other duties as required. *Experience* * Valid Class 5 BC Drivers License. * Post-secondary education in Accounting, Business Administration, or related discipline. * Proven experience in bookkeeping, accounting, or administrative roles. * Prior experience in QuickBooks and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) is required. * Strong understanding of accounting principles and general ledger maintenance. * Experience with payroll processing, reconciliations, and financial reporting. * High attention to detail with excellent organizational and time management skills. * Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines. * Effective communication and interpersonal skills for working across departments. * Commitment to confidentiality, accuracy, and professional integrity. *Work schedule:* * Approximately 40 hours per week / 5 days per week. * Mornings, Days, evenings and night shifts on weekdays or weekends. * Daily shift end times for associates vary based on production needs.
