*Overview* We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our culinary team. As a Line Cook, you will play a crucial role in meal preparation, ensuring that every dish meets our standards for taste and presentation. You will work closely with other kitchen staff to maintain an efficient workflow and uphold food safety practices. *Responsibilities* * Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards. * Assist in the setup and breakdown of the kitchen stations. * Ensure all food is prepared in accordance with food safety regulations and guidelines. * Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including proper food storage. * Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service during peak hours. * Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed. * Help train new kitchen staff on food handling and preparation techniques. * Participate in regular kitchen meetings to discuss menu changes and improvements. *Skills* * Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred. * Strong knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques. * Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen setting. * Excellent meal preparation skills with attention to detail in presentation. * Good communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members. * Ability to follow instructions accurately and work independently when necessary. * Flexibility to adapt to changing menus and customer preferences.
