*Overview* We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Dishwasher to join our team in a fast-paced kitchen environment. This position is ideal for individuals who thrive in the food service and hospitality industry and are eager to contribute to a dynamic team. *Responsibilities* * Efficiently wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans using commercial dishwashing equipment. * Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dishwashing area and kitchen. * Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, including chopping vegetables and preparing ingredients. * Ensure that all kitchen equipment is cleaned and stored properly after use. * Help maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and notify management when supplies are low. * Follow all safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a safe working environment. * Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours. *Requirements* * Previous experience in a kitchen or food service environment is preferred but not required. * Knowledge of proper food handling techniques and sanitation practices. * Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. * Strong teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with other staff members. * Willingness to take direction from cooks and kitchen managers. * Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift heavy items as needed. * A positive attitude and willingness to help wherever necessary in the kitchen.
