Helios Roofing and Waterproofing Ltd. is a full-service roofing contractor operating in lower mainland since 2012. We offer a full range (new roof and roof repair) of roofing installation, re-roofing, metal flashing, waterproofing, dampproofing and repairing services. We work on commercial, industrial and residential properties. As our business continues to grow, we are looking for two (2) skillful metal roofers to join our team. We value our employees and are devoted to helping the right candidate develop their skill set. *Some Daily Responsibilities:* · Site set up. · Removing and disposing of old roofing materials · Loading and unloading materials · Job site clean-up · Installation of a variety of roofing systems · Job leadership to new work · Minimum 2 years of experience working in a commercial construction setting (intermediate to skilled level) · Demonstrates an awareness and understanding of construction safety and OH&S policies · Standard First Aid Level C, Fall Protection and Construction Safety Training System (CSTS) certificate · Boom/Scissor lift or skid steer certifications considered an asset · Experience and understanding in, formwork, and concrete processes for winter construction is an asset · Must possess a valid form of government-issued photo identification *Qualifications**:* · Ability to lift up to 100lbs · Team player who is dependable and reliable · Ability to abide by all safety policies and procedures · Ability to work in a physically demanding, fast-paced, and safe environment on both the roof and ground · Prior roofing experience considered an asset · Fall protection certification considered an asset · First Aid Level 1 considered an asset · Red Seal Roofer Ticket considered an asset · Architectural Sheet Metal Certificate considered an asset · Ability to work at heights as well as access heights from a ladder We provide extended health insurance to team members work with us beyond 1 year.
