Central Zone provides a variety of primary, secondary, long-term care, community health, and other enhanced secondary services.Central NL Regional Health Centre is seeking a skilled and patient-focused Anesthesiologist to provide comprehensive anesthesia care across surgical and procedural settings. Responsibilities include conducting thorough pre-operative evaluations, developing and implementing individualized anesthesia plans, and collaborating closely with surgeons, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes. The anesthesiologist will administer general, regional, and local anesthesia, continuously monitor patients? vital signs during procedures, manage airways, and respond promptly to medical emergencies or complications. Post-operatively, the role involves overseeing patient recovery from anesthesia, managing pain and anesthesia-related side effects, and ensuring safe transitions of care.
