<p>We are partnering with a well-established Quebec-based organization operating in the education and public services sector. Its technological environment is complex, distributed, and continuously evolving, with infrastructure deployed across multiple geographic locations.</p><p>In this context, the organization is looking to hire a <strong>Senior System and Network Administrator</strong> who will take ownership of a critical multi-site infrastructure, ensure its stability, and actively contribute to its evolution.</p><p>You will be responsible for managing, evolving, and securing a distributed IT infrastructure including Microsoft server environments, multi-site networks (LAN/WAN), VPN connectivity, and security systems (firewalls, intrusion detection, etc.).</p><p>You will play a key role in maintaining operations, optimizing performance, and implementing solutions aligned with business needs.</p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Administer and maintain multi-site network environments (LAN/WAN, VPN, VLAN)</li><li>Manage and configure firewalls and security solutions (WatchGuard or equivalent)</li><li>Ensure performance, availability, and security of wired and wireless networks</li><li>Participate in infrastructure deployment and modernization projects</li><li>Administer Windows Server, Active Directory, GPO, and Office 365 environments</li><li>Manage Azure services and system management tools (SCCM, SCOM)</li><li>Ensure backup management, storage (NAS/SAN), and business continuity</li><li>Diagnose and resolve incidents (log analysis, monitoring, diagnostic tools)</li><li>Propose and implement technological improvements</li><li>Write and maintain technical documentation</li><li>Collaborate with internal teams to ensure a high level of support</li></ul><p><strong>Profile</strong></p><ul><li>Minimum 3 years of experience in system and network administration</li><li>Hands-on experience in <strong>multi-site environments (VPN, firewalls, WAN)</strong></li><li>Strong expertise in <strong>Microsoft infrastructure (AD, GPO, O365, Azure)</strong></li><li>Experience with firewalls (WatchGuard, Fortinet, Palo Alto or equivalent)</li><li>Experience with virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V)</li><li>Good understanding of networking protocols (DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, routing, etc.)</li><li>Autonomous, resourceful, and problem-solving mindset</li><li>Ability to work in a distributed and non-standardized environment</li></ul><p><strong>Assets</strong></p><ul><li>Experience with Aruba (switching, WiFi)</li><li>Experience in complex multi-site environments or managed services (MSP)</li><li>Experience in education or public sector environments</li><li>Knowledge of scripting (PowerShell) or cloud technologies</li></ul><p><strong>Additional Information</strong></p><ul><li>Full-time position</li><li><strong>6 weeks of vacation</strong></li><li>Hybrid work model (2?3 days onsite ?
