*Job Overview* We are seeking a skilled and reliable HVAC Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems across various commercial and residential settings. This role requires a strong mechanical aptitude, technical knowledge, and the ability to troubleshoot complex systems efficiently. The HVAC Technician will ensure optimal system performance, safety compliance, and customer satisfaction through expert service and maintenance. *Responsibilities* * Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain HVAC/Refrigeration systems in commercial settings. * Perform routine maintenance to identify potential issues and implement preventative maintenance measures. * Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and blueprints to accurately diagnose problems. * Conduct plumbing work related to HVAC systems such as drainage or water supply connections. * Utilize welding skills when necessary for system repairs or modifications. * Conduct appliance repair related to HVAC equipment when applicable. * Maintain detailed records of work performed and parts used for each job. * Comply with safety protocols will performing all tasks. * Repairs to kitchen equipment *Education/Skills Required* * Minimum Gr 12 diploma * Valid Class 5 driver's license * Ability to work independently and in a team environment * Experience working as an HVAC technician or with a strong understanding of HVAC systems is highly desirable. * Mechanical knowledge including plumbing, welding, boiler operation, and appliance repair is highly desirable. * Ability to read schematics and technical diagrams for system troubleshooting. * Strong communication skills to effectively communicate with team and customers. * Prefrence will be given to a Red Seal Technician or candidate with experience within the trade. *Other * * Schedule Monday-Friday; Night/On Call shifts may be required at times. This position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where technical skills are valued and developed further through ongoing training and hands-on experience.
