Delta Contracting Ltd in Fort Chipewyan Alberta is looking to hire a Full-Time Certified Heavy Duty Mechanic to service and maintain our fleet of diesel and gas powered vehicles and heavy equipment. Available to Start Immediately Full-Time hours with competitive wages offered Must Have: · Red Seal Journeyman preferred · Valid Class 5 drivers license minimum · Willing to work remote · Welding experience is a bonus Job Description and Duties · Inspect vehicles and equipment for defects and fluid levels · Perform on-site emergency maintenance with company provided vehicle · Provide routine maintenance, adjustment, and repair on all gasoline and diesel powered vehicles and machines including: bulldozers, excavators, hydraulics, winches, compressors, pumps, generators, and any other mechanical components Perform inspections and preventive maintenance including: · Checking all vehicles and heavy equipment to ensure proper performance, Performing inspections to detect faults and malfunctions · Diagnosing defects in heavy duty equipment · Maintain detailed and accurate service records and documentation Pay: $30.00-$43.29 per hour Benefits: * Dental care * Extended health care * Life insurance Work Location: In person- Location Edmonton, AB
