Job details
Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. or equivalent experience. Tasks: Prepare estimates of labour and/or material costs. Read blueprints, drawings and sketches to determine work requirements. Prepare layouts in conformance to building codes, using measuring tools. Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel and other materials. Prepare tenders and quotations. Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings and hardware. Schedule and co-ordinate work on sites. Survey building locations and levels. Instruct apprentices. Estimate costs and materials. Maintain, repair and renovate residences and wooden structures in mills, mines, hospitals, industrial plants and other establishments. Perform pre-operational inspection. Install interior prefabricated products. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : Carpenter Trade Certification. Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years.- Location Prince George, BCV2N 0G4
