Parts Technician *Heavy Equipment Repair Ltd. ? Slave Lake, AB* *Full-Time | Monday to Friday | Day Shift* *$30.00 - $50.00 per hour *_*(depending on experience)*_ Heavy Equipment Repair Ltd. is seeking motivated and reliable *Parts Technicians* to join our team in Slave Lake, Alberta. We are a busy heavy-duty truck repair, industrial supply, and fabrication facility serving customers in the forestry, transportation, construction, mining, and oilfield industries. Who We're Looking For We are looking to add *two Parts Technicians* to our team. * *One position is geared toward an experienced Parts Technician* with strong heavy-duty truck, industrial, agricultural, or automotive parts experience. * *One position may be suitable for an entry-level candidate* with some parts, mechanical, warehouse, or customer service experience who is eager to learn and build a career in the industry. Training and mentorship will be provided for the right candidate. What We Offer * Competitive wages of *$30.00 - $50.00 per hour*, depending on experience * Full-time, permanent employment * Group benefits package * Supportive and team-oriented work environment * Stable, year-round employment Responsibilities * Assist customers in person, over the phone, and by email * Identify, source, and sell heavy-duty truck, trailer, industrial, and automotive parts * Prepare quotations, sales orders, and purchase orders * Receive, stock, and organize inventory * Maintain accurate inventory records * Work closely with technicians and service staff to ensure parts availability * Source parts from multiple suppliers and obtain competitive pricing * Participate in inventory counts and cycle counts * Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment * Participate in rotating Saturday and on-call schedules *Qualifications Experienced Candidate* * Journeyman Parts Technician certification is considered an asset * 3+ years of experience in heavy-duty truck, industrial, agricultural, automotive, or related parts sales * Strong product knowledge and parts sourcing experience * Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment *Entry-Level Candidate* * Previous experience in parts, warehousing, customer service, mechanical trades, or a related industry * Strong computer and organizational skills * Willingness to learn parts identification, inventory management, and customer service * Positive attitude and strong work ethic *For All Candidates* * Excellent communication and customer service skills * Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities * Ability to work independently and as part of a team *The Ideal Candidate* You are dependable, organized, and customer-focused.
