*Job Summary* We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Office Administrative Assistant to support our daily operations. The ideal candidate will have strong clerical skills, excellent communication abilities, and proficiency with various office software. This role involves managing front desk responsibilities, data entry, and providing exceptional customer service to ensure smooth office functioning. Experience in funeral services is a plus, but not required. The successful candidate will play a vital role in maintaining an efficient and welcoming office environment. *Duties* * Greet visitors and manage front desk operations with professional phone etiquette * Answer multi-line phone systems and direct calls appropriately * Perform data entry tasks accurately using Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and QuickBooks * Maintain organized filing systems both digitally and physically * Schedule appointments for clients. * Assist with bookkeeping and basic financial record keeping * Support administrative tasks such as proofreading documents, preparing correspondence, and managing office supplies * Provide customer support by addressing inquiries promptly and professionally * Handle clerical duties including copying, scanning, and faxing documents *Skills* * Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Google Workspace tools * Experience with QuickBooks or similar bookkeeping software * Strong computer skills with the ability to learn new systems quickly * Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail * Effective typing speed and accuracy for data entry tasks * Good proofreading skills for document review * Previous clerical or administrative experience preferred, especially in funeral services industry. * Customer service experience with a friendly demeanor and professional phone etiquette * Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment * Strong organizational skills to manage filing systems and schedules effectively * Profitient in both English and French is a must. ?
