*Job Overview* We are seeking a friendly and efficient *Barista* to join our team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about delivering exceptional customer service while preparing high-quality beverages and food items. This role offers an engaging environment where you can develop your skills in food service, food safety, and cash handling, contributing to a welcoming atmosphere for our customers. *Responsibilities* * Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and specialty drinks with precision and consistency. * Operate POS systems, including Micros POS, for order processing and cash handling. * Manage food preparation tasks such as assembling food items and maintaining cleanliness of workstations. * Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers, taking orders, and addressing inquiries professionally. * Ensure food safety standards are maintained by adhering to proper handling and sanitation procedures. * Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure timely service without compromising quality. * Handle cashier duties accurately, including processing payments and giving correct change using basic math skills. * Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including cleaning equipment and dining areas as needed. *Experience* * Previous barista experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate. * Experience in the food industry or food service environment is advantageous. * Familiarity with POS systems, especially Micros POS, is a plus. * Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse customers. * Good time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during peak hours. * Basic math skills for cashiering and cash handling responsibilities. * Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures is desirable but not mandatory; training will be provided.
