Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. or equivalent experience. Tasks: Deliver and pick up messages, parcels, and other items by hand. Operate and drive automobiles, vans and light trucks to pick up and deliver various items and products. Professionalism in customer service. Receive and relay information to central dispatch. Prepare, package and restock goods. Load and unload goods. Follow directions and read map. Use maps and other trip planning aids. Record trip information such as vehicle mileage, fuel costs and any problems. Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : Air Brakes Endorsement. Class 3/3F/DF Licence (trailer truck, vehicles with more than 3 axles). Forklift Operator Certification. Driver's License (Class 3 or D). Transportation/travel experience: Local. Provincial/territorial. Security and safety: Criminal record check. Driving record check (abstract). Transportation/travel information: Own transportation. Valid driver's licence. Drive manual transmission vehicle. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Attention to detail. Fast-paced environment. Tight deadlines. Work under pressure. Physically demanding. Handling heavy loads. Weight handling: Up to 23 kg (50 lbs). Own tools/equipment: Steel-toed safety boots. Gloves.
