Our mission is to create high-end art, officially licensed apparel, and experiences that do justice to each figure?s unique battle for greatness ? keeping their legacies alive for future generations. *Job Summary* Reporting to the VP, Finance, the Senior Accountant is a key member of a lean, high-performing finance team. You will work alongside our existing Senior Accountant in a peer structure ? both roles carry the same responsibilities, and the team cross-trains to ensure full coverage and continuity across all finance functions. This is a high-visibility contract role with direct exposure to the full finance function of a growing licensed brand. _This is a fixed-term contract position of approximately 20 months._ *Responsibilities* * Lead month-end and year-end close processes, including preparation of working papers and supporting schedules * Own weekly cash flow forecasting and variance analysis * Manage royalty calculations across multiple licensing agreements * Review and approve vendor invoices captured via accounts payable automation software * Process vendor payments including EFTs, wires, and payment runs * Oversee accounts receivable functions * Process multi-jurisdiction payroll * Prepare and file Canadian and US statutory tax returns * Perform bank and balance sheet reconciliations * Prepare and maintain KPI dashboards and financial reports to support business decision-making * Support the preparation of the annual budget * Support ad-hoc finance projects as required *Required Qualifications* * Bachelor?s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field * CPA designation (or candidate in final stages of completion) * 5+ years of progressive accounting experience * Strong organizational skills and high attention to detail * Ability to manage high transaction volumes and prioritize competing deadlines * Excellent interpersonal and communication skills * Team-oriented with a collaborative, solutions-focused attitude * Proficiency with Microsoft Excel *Assets* * Experience with NetSuite and/or Shopify * Background in a product-based, e-commerce, or licensing/royalty environment * Experience with multi-currency transactions and cross-border Canada/US compliance *Position Details* * Job Type: Fixed-Term Contract (~20 months) * Location: Remote (Vancouver, BC) ? occasional in-person meetings required * Schedule: Monday to Friday *Benefits* * Casual dress * Company events * Paid time off * Work from home * Extended health care benefits (Eligible after 3-month waiting period) Pay: $70,000.00-$75,000.00 per year Benefits: * Casual dress * Company events * Dental care * Extended health care * Life insurance * Paid time off * Work from home Application question(s): * Are you willing to commute to Vancouver, BC for occasional in person meetings and social gatherings?
