*Overview* We are seeking a friendly, detail-oriented *Barista* to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for delivering exceptional customer service and creating a welcoming environment for all guests. This role involves preparing and serving high-quality beverages and food items, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring efficient operations in a fast-paced setting. Previous experience in the food industry or as a barista is preferred. A strong focus on food safety, cash handling, and time management is essential for success in this position. *Duties* * Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and specialty drinks. * Handle cash register operations, including cashiering and cash handling with accuracy * Assist customers with menu selections, answer questions about products, and provide excellent customer service * Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, including food preparation stations and dining spaces * Follow food safety guidelines and proper food handling procedures to ensure quality and safety standards are met * Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve customers efficiently without sacrificing quality * Restock supplies as needed and perform basic food preparation tasks such as assembling sandwiches or snacks * Uphold all health and safety regulations related to food service and sanitation standards *Qualifications* * Previous experience as a *Barista* or in the *food service* industry is preferred. * Familiarity with POS systems, especially Micros POS, is a plus * Strong *customer service* skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse guests. * Must be fluent in English * Basic math skills necessary for cash handling, making change, and processing transactions accurately * Knowledge of *food safety*, proper *food handling*, and sanitation procedures * Excellent *time management* skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during peak hours * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and quality standards * Reliable work ethic with a positive attitude and team-oriented mindset This position offers an engaging work environment where your skills in food preparation, customer service, and cash handling will be valued.
