*Administrative Assistant * 40 hours per week McMan Youth, Family and Community Services Association Edmonton McMan Youth, Family and Community Services Association is seeking a highly organized and proactive Administrative Assistant to provide administrative support to the Family Intervention Service Program office and staff. The Administrative Assistant will perform a variety of clerical, administrative, and financial duties. *Who we are:* The McMan team is a talented and dedicated group of people who enjoy collaborating, working hard, and having fun at work. We?re proud of the work we do and the folks we support. *What you?ll do:* Reporting to the Program Managers, the Administrative Assistant will maintain organized and efficient office systems, demonstrate proficiency in a variety of software applications including Microsoft Excel, and provide additional support to staff in the areas of financial recording, regional updates, and program office operations. Key areas of responsibility will include: · Acts as first point of contact for in-person and telephone traffic. Manages incoming service inquiries through strong knowledge base of program services and resources. · Manages data and information, prepares correspondence, reports and materials for a variety of purposes to support the program manager, team and services. · Coordinate or assist with organizing a range of events, including meetings and staff/client social gatherings. · Verifies, monitors, reconciles, and completes a variety of financial information within the program. Ensures that the appropriate documentation is completed, and accurate reimbursement is provided. · Prepare and submit regional reports in accordance with departmental requirements, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and adherence to strict reporting deadlines and timelines. · Acts as back-up and provides assistance as needed to other Administrative Assistant staff; works on special projects and other duties as assigned. · Adheres to McMan safety standards when managing potentially unsafe situations (e.g., building safety, emergencies, evacuations). Manage OH&S building inspection monthly · Performs additional job functions for the benefit of the individuals, the program and the agency as mutually agreed upon with his or her supervisor. *What you bring:* · A diploma in Business Administration or a related discipline and a minimum of two years' experience as an administrative professional. Equivalencies may be considered. · Effective communication and problem-solving skills. Strong analytical, organizational and time management skills. The Salary for this position is $45,718- $51,480 annually commensurate with education /experience.
