The Cleaning Associate is responsible for maintaining clean buildings, hallways, grounds, and vacant suites on behalf of York Property Management. The Cleaning Associate will be required to work only on weekdays, during the day (40hrs a week guaranteed). Reporting to the Manager of Resident Experience and working with the Maintenance Technician, the Cleaning Associate will oversee the cleanliness of assigned building(s). The Cleaning Associate will ensure that all operations are conducted in a respectful and responsible way, ensuring that all decisions and actions comply with the relevant legislation, policies and procedures. Responsibilities 1. Maintain Exterior Water and tend to plants Pick up any garbage around the property Sidewalk salting and snow shovelingRegularly walk parking garage to check for garbage and debris2. Maintain Interior Water plants, ensure lobbies and common areas are cleaned thoroughlyPick up and discard debris and garbageKeep cleaning supplies organized and report low stock to managerEnsure hallways on all floors are cleaned (carpets, tile, etc).Ensure garbage chutes are operational and chute rooms are clean3.
