Our collection highlights small and independent brands from PEI and from across Canada. We are located at Peakes Quay by the water in downtown Charlottetown. Our shop is filled with natural light and East Coast charm-creating a fun and welcome environment for locals and tourists! Job Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated customer-oriented individual to join our team at My Little Stash. As a Retail Sales Associate, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, promoting our products, and driving sales. This is a great opportunity for individuals who enjoy working in a fast-paced retail environment. Duties: - Provide exceptional and personalized customer service - Assist customers with styling and product recommendations - Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently using POS system - Maintain a clean and organized sales floor - Assist with inventory management and restocking shelves - Meet or exceed sales targets on a regular basis - Collaborate with team members to achieve overall store goals Skills: - Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English - Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with customers - Multilingual skills are a plus - Experience with cashiering and handling cash transactions - Proficient in phone etiquette when handling customer inquiries or issues - Basic math skills for calculating totals, discounts, and change - Effective time management skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines - Strong organizational skills to maintain a clean and organized sales floor We offer competitive pay, employee discounts, and opportunities for career growth within our company.
