The ideal candidate will be responsible for applying paint, stain, and coatings to a variety of surfaces, ensuring high-quality finishes in residential settings. This role requires attention to detail, strong time management skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with our team. *Responsibilities* * Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and priming as necessary. * Apply paint, stain, and other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment. * Restore and maintain the appearance of various surfaces through touch-ups and refinishing. * Rig up scaffolding or ladders as needed to reach high areas safely. * Perform caulking and sealing tasks to ensure a smooth finish and protect against moisture. * Read blueprints and project specifications to determine the scope of work required. * Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition, including power tools used for painting tasks. * Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients throughout the project. *Skills* * Strong communication skills to interact with clients and team members effectively. * Proficiency in using power tools related to painting tasks. * Experience in residential painting techniques and best practices. * Ability to perform caulking tasks with precision for optimal results. * Excellent time management skills to complete projects efficiently within deadlines. * Capability to read blueprints accurately for project execution. * Strong attention to detail in all aspects of work performed.
