Job DescriptionWorking as part of the CTV Your Morning Winnipeg team, this person will be responsible for preparing and presenting weather and community information live and pre-recorded.Engage on-air in natural, lively banter with the morning show team.Work closely with producers and the Sales team to execute sponsored content, including engaging live or pre-taped interviews with clients, sponsors, and community partners.Create and update content across all digital platforms.Other related duties as assigned.Critical QualificationsA degree or diploma from an accredited Broadcast Journalism programMinimum of 5 years of reporting and anchoring experienceStrong journalistic, organizational and interpersonal skills and the ability to deal with multiple demands and pressures of on-air deadlinesProven ability as a live to air reporterExperience presenting weather on airExcellent writing skills and strong presentation and ad-libbing skillsAbility to work well in a deadline-driven team environmentAdvanced social media skills required including Facebook, YouTube & TikTok applicationsExcellent computer literacy skills; experience in iNews & WSI an assetAdequate knowledge of French is required for positions in Quebec.
