*Job Summary* We are seeking a skilled and reliable Excavator Operator to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will have experience operating heavy equipment, including excavators and skid steers, to support various construction projects. This role requires a strong understanding of heavy machinery, safety protocols, and the ability to work efficiently in a dynamic environment. The Excavator Operator will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful completion of excavation, grading, backfilling, and other construction activities. *Responsibilities* * Operate excavators and skid steers with precision and safety. * Perform excavation tasks including trenching, digging, lifting, and moving materials on-site. * Install quick trench services * Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of equipment to ensure optimal performance. * Follow all safety guidelines and procedures to maintain a safe work environment. * Collaborate with team members to coordinate project tasks and meet deadlines. * Support other construction activities requiring mechanical knowledge or equipment operation. * Maintain accurate records of equipment usage and operational issues. *Skills* * Proven experience operating excavators and skid steers * Mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting equipment issues and performing basic maintenance. * Commercial driving skills are a plus for transporting equipment or materials between sites. * Strong understanding of construction site safety protocols. * Excellent coordination skills and attention to detail for precise operation of machinery. * Ability to work in various weather conditions and adapt to changing project requirements.
