*Job Summary* We are seeking a professional and organized Dental Receptionist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will serve as the first point of contact for patients, manage appointment scheduling, and ensure smooth front desk operations. This role requires excellent communication skills, proficiency with dental and medical office software, and a friendly demeanor to create a welcoming environment for all patients. Prior experience in dental or medical office settings is highly preferred. The Dental Receptionist will play a vital role in maintaining efficient office workflows and delivering exceptional patient service. *Responsibilities* * Greet patients warmly and assist them with check-in and check-out procedures * Manage multi-line phone systems to answer inquiries, schedule appointments, and relay messages * Maintain accurate patient records using electronic medical records systems such as AbelDent. * Verify patient insurance information and process billing or payments accordingly * Schedule, confirm, and reschedule appointments efficiently to optimize office workflow * Collect patient information, update medical histories, and ensure data accuracy * Assist with administrative tasks including filing, faxing, and managing correspondence * Ensure the front desk area is organized, clean, and professional at all times * Collaborate with dental staff to facilitate smooth daily operations *Experience* * Prior experience as a Dental Receptionist or in a similar front desk role within a dental or medical office setting is preferred * Knowledge of dental software such as AbelDent and electronic medical records systems like Epic is highly desirable * Familiarity with medical terminology relevant to dental care is advantageous * Office experience involving multi-line phone systems and administrative duties is essential * Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are required to manage patient information accurately * Excellent communication skills and a friendly attitude are necessary to provide exceptional patient service Benefits: * On-site parking Work Location: In person Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Pay: $18.00-$25.00 per hour Benefits: * On-site parking Work Location: In person- Location Stoney Creek, ON
