SQL, Unix/Linux, Windows & OpenShift<br/></h1><p></p><div><b>Location:</b> Toronto, ON (Hybrid ? 4 Days WFO)<br/></div><div><b>Duration:</b> 12 Months<br/></div><p></p><h2>Role Overview<br/></h2><ul><li><p style="margin-top:0px">Provide critical technical support for production environments.<br/></p></li><li><p style="margin-top:0px">Ensure system stability, availability, and compliance with organizational standards.<br/></p></li><li><p style="margin-top:0px">Maintain high service quality through effective monitoring, troubleshooting, and issue resolution.<br/></p></li></ul><h2>Key Responsibilities<br/></h2><ul><li><p style="margin-top:0px">Monitor and maintain production systems across Unix/Linux, Windows, Mainframe, and containerized environments.<br/></p></li><li><p style="margin-top:0px">Troubleshoot and resolve production issues in real time to minimize system downtime.<br/></p></li><li><p style="margin-top:0px">Support and manage Stonebranch workflow automation and OpenShift containerized applications.<br/></p></li><li><p style="margin-top:0px">Execute, maintain, and optimize SQL queries and database operations.<br/></p></li><li><p style="margin-top:0px">Develop and maintain automation scripts using Shell Scripting and Python.<br/></p></li><li><p style="margin-top:0px">Respond to and resolve production incidents, including IT risk and compliance-related issues.<br/></p></li><li><p style="margin-top:0px">Document incidents, resolutions, procedures, and knowledge base articles.<br/></p></li><li><p style="margin-top:0px">Collaborate with development and infrastructure teams to improve system performance and reliability.<br/></p></li><li><p style="margin-top:0px">Participate in on-call production support rotations.<br/></p></li></ul><h2>Required Skills & Experience<br/></h2><h3>Infrastructure & Platform Support<br/></h3><ul><li><p style="margin-top:0px">Strong experience with Unix/Linux administration, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.<br/></p></li><li><p style="margin-top:0px">Hands-on experience with Windows Server administration and support.<br/></p></li><li><p style="margin-top:0px">Working knowledge of Mainframe operations and JCL (Job Control Language).<br/></p></li></ul><h3>Application & Automation<br/></h3><ul><li><p style="margin-top:0px">Experience with Stonebranch workflow orchestration.<br/></p></li><li><p style="margin-top:0px">Hands-on experience with OpenShift deployment and management.<br/></p></li><li><p style="margin-top:0px">Strong SQL skills for database querying and data management.<br/></p></li><li><p style="margin-top:0px">Experience developing automation solutions using Shell Scripting and Python.<br/></p></li></ul><h3>Operations & Support<br/></h3><ul><li><p style="margin-top:0px">Proven experience in Production Support and Incident Management.<br/></p></li><li><p style="margin-top:0px">Understanding of IT risk, compliance requirements, and operational controls.<br/></p></li><li><p style="margin-top:0px">Excellent verbal and written communication skills.<br/></p></li></ul><h2>Key Competencies<br/></h2><ul><li><p style="margin-top:0px">Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.<br/></p></li><li><p style="margin-top:0px">Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.<br/></p></li><li><p style="margin-top:0px">Excellent documentation and knowledge management skills.<br/></p></li><li><p style="margin-top:0px">Customer-focused approach.<br/></p></li><li><p style="margin-top:0px">Strong attention to detail.<br/></p></li><li><p style="margin-top:0px">Proactive mindset toward risk management and compliance.<br/></p></li></ul><h2>Preferred Qualifications<br/></h2><ul><li><p style="margin-top:0px">8+ years of Production Support experience.<br/></p></li><li><p style="margin-top:0px">Relevant certifications in Unix/Linux, Windows, Cloud, or related technologies.<br/></p></li><li>- Location Toronto, ON
