<p>This role will play a key part in strengthening Fengate?s planning, forecasting, and performance reporting capabilities across the business. The Manager, FP&A will partner closely with Business Unit Finance and business leaders to deliver actionable analysis, support strategic decision-making, and enhance the firm?s forecasting and reporting infrastructure.</p><p> </p><p>As a key member of the Corporate Finance team, this role will help strengthen Fengate?s best-in-class forecasting, budgeting, analytics, and reporting capabilities. The successful candidate will support financial planning and analysis, cash flow forecasting, KPI reporting, and selected strategic finance initiatives to enable high-quality management reporting and decision support.</p><p> </p><p>The successful candidate will bring financial and audit experience, ideally within asset management or a related investment environment. They will be a self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced setting, demonstrates strong ownership and accountability, is detail-oriented and process-oriented, and brings strong analytical, and problem-solving skills.</p><p><strong>Requirements</strong></p><ul><li>Own the annual budget, quarterly forecasts, and consolidated financial analysis processes.</li><li>Develop, enhance, and lead budgeting and forecasting processes and models, with a continuous improvement mindset.</li><li>Build and maintain dynamic levered cash flow models using inputs from key business partners.</li><li>Analyze current and historical KPI trends across revenue, expenses, and capital expenditures to support strategic and operating decision-making.</li><li>Leverage internal and external resources, including business partners and ERP data, to enhance and standardize financial models and assess key drivers of budget-to-actual variances.</li><li>Identify opportunities to improve efficiency through process enhancement, automation, and the effective use of AI-enabled tools.</li><li>Lead ad hoc financial analysis to support strategic and operational decision-making.</li><li>Partner with the Financial Reporting team to enhance existing and develop new reporting and forecasting infrastructure for internal reporting, external reporting, and presentation materials.</li><li>Support the annual external valuation process and internal quarterly valuation updates in coordination with management, internal stakeholders, and external advisors.</li></ul><p></p><p>Key Qualifications</p><p></p><ul><li>CPA, CA with 4+ years of progressive experience, preferably within private equity, asset or fund management, infrastructure or real estate investing, or a pension/investment environment</li><li>Advanced Excel skills, with the ability to prepare clear, executive-ready presentations and financial materials</li><li>Advanced analytical skills, including the ability to perform sensitivity analysis, identify risks, and develop informed, executive-ready recommendations</li><li>Ability to manage multiple competing priorities and deliver accurate, timely work under tight deadlines</li><li>Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple workstreams and keep stakeholders aligned against deadlines</li><li>Sound judgment, with the ability to think critically, solve problems, navigate ambiguity, and operate with a strong ownership mindset</li><li>Strong stakeholder focus, with excellent relationship-building skills and a collaborative working style</li><li>Excellent presentation, verbal, and written communication skills, with the ability to translate complex financial concepts into clear business language for stakeholders at all levels</li><li>Experience with NetSuite is an asset</li></ul>- Location Oakville, ON
