*Job Summary* We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Line Cook to join our dynamic culinary team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of dishes in a fast-paced restaurant environment. This role requires a strong commitment to food safety, quality, and customer satisfaction. The Line Cook will work closely with the kitchen staff to ensure timely and efficient meal preparation, contributing to an exceptional dining experience for our guests. *Responsibilities* * Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and presentation standards * Assist in food preparation, including chopping, slicing, and measuring ingredients * Ensure all food handling and safety procedures are strictly followed * Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen station before, during, and after service * Serve dishes promptly and accurately to ensure customer satisfaction * Collaborate with team members to coordinate meal timing and quality control * Follow sanitation guidelines to uphold health standards in the kitchen * Support inventory management by properly storing ingredients and supplies *Requirements* * Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or kitchen environments is preferred * Knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety protocols * Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting * Strong understanding of food handling procedures and hygiene standards * Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude * Flexibility to work during peak hours, including evenings and weekends if needed * Serving experience is a plus but not required; willingness to learn is essential * Food industry or restaurant experience is highly desirable for this role Job Type: Full-time Pay: $19.00-$20.00 per hour Benefits: * Discounted or free food Work Location: In person- Location Toronto, ON
