Eastern Urban Zone invites applications for a 1.0 FTE salaried Pediatrician within the Children's and Women's Health Program. The successful candidate will function as a Pediatrician with dedicated responsibilities in Complex Medical Care (0.6 FTE) and Pediatric Palliative Care (0.4 FTE), providing comprehensive care to children and youth across Newfoundland and Labrador.This position is accountable to the Division Head of General Pediatrics and the Clinical Chief of Children's and Women's Health.The Pediatric Palliative Care component involves consultation, symptom management, serious-illness communication, bereavement support, and care coordination for pediatric patients with life-limiting or life-threatening illness.The Complex Medical Care (CMC) component involves providing coordinated, longitudinal care to children with severe, multisystem, technology-dependent, and high-needs conditions ? a growing provincial population requiring enhanced continuity and care coordination.NL Health Services is affiliated with the Faculty of Medicine at Memorial University of Newfoundland and Labrador and is a teaching site for multiple disciplines.
