*Job Overview* We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Line Cook to join our team for evening shifts on a full-time basis. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation, cooking, and delivering exceptional food service in a fast-paced restaurant environment. This role offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic kitchen, contribute to creating delicious meals, and ensure the highest standards of food safety and quality. *Wednesday-Sunday 5:30pm-1:30am, 40hrs/week* *Responsibilities* * Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and presentation standards * Assist with food preparation tasks such as chopping, marinating, and portioning ingredients * Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including washing dishes and sanitizing work surfaces * Ensure all food handling practices comply with food safety regulations * Serve dishes promptly and accurately to ensure customer satisfaction * Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations during busy evening hours * Monitor inventory levels and communicate needs for restocking ingredients or supplies *Requirements* * Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or as a line cook in a restaurant or food service setting * Strong knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling techniques * Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail * Excellent understanding of meal preparation, cooking techniques, and presentation skills * Previous experience in the food industry or kitchen environment is preferred * Good communication skills and ability to work well within a team * Flexibility to work evening shifts on a full-time basis, including weekends as needed This position is ideal for individuals passionate about culinary arts who thrive in energetic kitchen settings.
