We are committed to delivering high-quality craftsmanship and are looking for an experienced Lead Carpenter to join our team.</div><div><br></div><div><strong>About the Role:</strong></div><div>As a Lead Carpenter, you will oversee day-to-day site operations while performing hands-on carpentry work. You will lead a crew, coordinate with subcontractors and project managers, and ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.<br><br></div><div><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></div><ul><li>Lead and supervise carpenters and apprentices on site.</li><li>Perform framing, finishing, renovations, and general carpentry work.</li><li>Read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.</li><li>Plan daily tasks and coordinate work with the Project Manager.</li><li>Ensure work is completed on schedule and meets company quality standards.</li><li>Train and mentor junior carpenters and apprentices.</li><li>Coordinate with subcontractors and other trades.</li><li>Inspect work for quality and address deficiencies.</li><li>Maintain a safe, clean, and organized job site.</li><li>Assist with material planning and communicate job site requirements.</li></ul><div><br></div><div><strong>Qualifications:</strong></div><ul><li>Minimum 7 years of carpentry experience.</li><li>Previous experience leading a crew or working as a Lead Carpenter or Foreman.</li><li>Strong knowledge of residential construction and commercial tenant improvements.</li><li>Proficient in both framing and finishing carpentry.</li><li>Ability to read blueprints and solve problems independently.</li><li>Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.</li><li>Valid driver?s license and reliable transportation.</li><li>Must have a cell phone for communication.</li><li>Own a complete set of carpentry tools.</li></ul><div><br></div><div><strong>What We Offer:</strong></div><ul><li>Competitive wages based on experience.</li><li>Full-time, year-round employment.</li><li>Opportunities for advancement into Site Supervisor or Project Management roles.</li><li>Supportive and team-oriented work environment.</li><li>A variety of custom residential and commercial projects.</li></ul><br><br><ul></ul>- Location Kelowna, BC
