<b>Job Description</b><br><span id="spandesc"><div>Our client, a long-time local manufacturer, is looking for multiple Warehouse Order Pickers to join their team! Our client produces a variety of refinishing and repair products for automotive application. These positions will start immediately for the right candidate.<br/></div><div><br/></div><div>For consideration, you must have a current order picker forklift and working at heights license. Also, you must be comfortable with manual order picking. There are no scanners.<br/></div><div><br/></div><div><b>Salary:</b><br/></div><div>$21.00 per hour, temporary to permanent.<br/></div><div><br/></div><div><b>Hours of Work:</b><br/></div><div>Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm. <br/></div><div><br/></div><span id="spandesc"><h3>Responsibilities<br/></h3></span><ul><li>Safely utilizing an Order Picker to pick orders from the warehouse or manufacturing floor.<span><br/></span></li><li>Organizing the warehouse and manufacturing area. Ensuring the line is supplied for necessary product. <br/></li><li><span>Assisting with loading and unloading, both by hand and using an order picker.</span><br/></li><li>Periodically completing inspection of equipment, advising supervisor of any issues.<br/></li><li>Checking prepared loads and general paperwork for accuracy and completeness.<br/></li><li>Adherence to all safety processes.<br/></li><li>General help with other tasks as needed.<br/></li></ul></span><br/><span id="spanreq"><h3>Requirements</h3><div><ul><li>Must have a current order picker forklift license.<br/></li><li>Must have a working from heights license.<br/></li><li>Must have strong English communication skills, both spoken and written.<br/></li><li>Excellent math skills is important.<br/></li><li>Desire to work in a manufacturing setting in a unique and specialized industry.<br/></li><li>Ability to lift up to 50 lbs (not repetitive or constant).<br/></li><li>Ability to work full-time, 40 hours per week.<br/></li><li>Demonstrable work ethic and reliability.<br/></li><li>Attention to detail and good time management skills.<span></span><br/></li></ul></div></span><br/><span id="spanben"><h3>Benefits</h3><ul><li><span>Being part of a stable and long-term local company.</span><br/></li><li>Tenured and loyal workforce.<br/></li><li><span>Straight days and no weekend work.</span><br/></li><li><span>Potential for permanent hire.</span><br/></li></ul><div><br/></div><div><b>Other companies may call this role:</b><br/></div><div>Forklift Operator<br/></div><div>Forklift Driver<br/></div><div>Material Handler<br/></div><div><br/></div><div><span>If you <b>have experience as an Order Picker with a current license</b>, this may be the role for you.
