Be part of a team who ensures safe, reliable transportation for all students and families. </p><p><strong>Kingston's students are counting on you - and we can't wait to welcome you aboard!</strong></p><p><strong>Requirements</strong></p><p><strong>Why You?ll Love This Role</strong></p><ul><li>You are responsible for safely transporting what we call ?the most precious cargo? to and from school</li><li>You will ensure students? safety while boarding, during transit and exiting the bus. </li><li>You will be responsible for performing pre/post- trip vehicle inspections to ensure optimal vehicle safety.</li><li>You will help fuel and maintain the cleanliness of the bus.</li></ul><p></p><p><strong>Your profile</strong></p><ul><li>You are safety focused</li><li>You hold a valid minimum full G class drivers license, Preference will be given to B class drivers</li><li>You are 21 years of age or over</li><li>You are a safe driver with a clean driving record</li><li>You can obtain a clean criminal record search</li><li>You have a sound knowledge of the Kingston region and surrounding areas</li><li>You have the ability to work independently</li><li>You have the ability to work split shifts that reflect transportation requirements for school age children</li><li>You possess solid communication skills</li><li>Great customer service and communication skills in order to interact with passengers, parents, school employees, co-workers and the general public in a courteous and professional manner</li><li>You meet the required MTO medical standards required to obtain or maintain a B licence</li></ul><p><strong>Your location</strong></p><p>By joining the Voyago team you will find:</p><ul><li>We offer a competitive hourly pay $23/hour</li><li>You are paid a minimum 4 hours per day!</li><li>You are paid for all pre & post trip inspections, as well as all safety meetings! </li><li>We offer *FREE licence upgrades to a B licence and provide all the training you will need to be successful! *<em>with a 6 month employment commitment - which will not be a challenge since you will love working with us so much! </em></li><li>We offer all in-class and on road training required in order to Pass a Ministry of Transportation Driver Examination or obtain a certificate of competence from a recognized authority by passing a vision screening, knowledge test and a driving test in a bus of appropriate size!</li><li>We offer a Professional Driver Improvement Course approved by the Ministry of Transportation.</li><li>We provide First Aid, CPR & Epipen paid training!</li><li>Ask us about opportunities to bring your kids to work!</li><li>Opportunities are available with charters for extra hours</li><li>The FT comprehensive benefit package is available if you work 30+ hours or more per week.</li><li>You will feel that personal satisfaction of knowing that you are making a difference in the lives of these children & the community you live in! </li></ul><p><strong>Benefits</strong></p><p><strong>The Perks</strong></p><ul><li>We support the development, work-life balance and well-being of our employees</li><li>We build a supportive corporate culture that encourages diversity and enables our people to flourish.</li><li>We enable our employees to have a positive social impact by deploying sustainable mobility solutions.</li></ul><ul><li>We offer comprehe- Location Kingston, ON
