<p><strong>Civil Construction Labourer</strong></p> <p><strong>Company:</strong> Infracon Group of Companies<br/> <strong>Location:</strong> Prince Rupert, BC<br/> <strong>Type:</strong> Full-Time / Project-Based<br/> <strong>Wage Range:</strong> $25.00 ? $28.00 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications</p> <p><strong>About the Role</strong></p> <p>The Infracon Group of Companies is seeking reliable, safety-focused <strong>Civil Construction Labourers</strong> for an upcoming municipal sewer and water infrastructure project in Prince Rupert, BC.</p> <p>This role is best suited for individuals who enjoy hands-on work, are comfortable working outdoors, and are willing to support a variety of field tasks in active construction environments. The successful candidate will assist supervisors, equipment operators, pipe crews, truck drivers, and other team members with general labour duties, site preparation, material handling, traffic control support, cleanup, and other project-related activities.</p> <p>Our projects may include road construction, earthworks, drainage, utility installation, pipeline maintenance, mine support work, site development, reclamation, and civil infrastructure upgrades. We are looking for labourers who are dependable, hardworking, safety-minded, and willing to learn.</p> <p>This is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to gain experience and build a career in civil construction, mining support, pipeline maintenance, and related field operations.</p> <p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p> <p><strong>General Labour Support</strong></p> <ul><li>Perform general labour duties to support civil construction, mining, and pipeline maintenance activities </li><li>Assist equipment operators, supervisors, pipe crews, truck drivers, and other field personnel </li><li>Support road construction, drainage, utility, earthworks, site development, and reclamation work </li><li>Shovel, rake, grade, compact, place material, and perform hand work as required </li><li>Load, unload, move, and organize materials, tools, signage, and equipment </li><li>Assist with site preparation, cleanup, and general organization of work areas </li><li>Support installation and removal of construction materials, fencing, barricades, signage, pipe, culverts, and erosion control measures</li></ul> <p><strong>Field & Crew Support</strong></p> <ul><li>Work closely with supervisors, forepersons, labourers, operators, pipe crews, and truck drivers </li><li>Support safe and efficient field operations by following direction and completing assigned tasks </li><li>Act as a spotter when required and where properly trained </li><li>Assist with basic measurements, grade checks, site markings, and layout support as directed </li><li>Help maintain safe access routes, work zones, and material storage areas </li><li>Adapt to changing project requirements, site conditions, weather, and priorities </li><li>Represent the Infracon Group of Companies professionally on project sites </li></ul> <p><strong>Tools, Materials & Site Organization</strong></p> <ul><li>Use hand tools, small equipment, and power tools safely and appropriately </li><li>Maintain tools, equipment, and materials in good working condition </li><li>Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of unnecessary hazards </li><li>Support proper storage and handling of materials and supplies </li><li>Assist with daily setup and shutdown activities </li><li>Report damaged tools, missing materials, or site concerns to supervision </li></ul> <p><strong>Safety & Compliance</strong></p> <ul><li>Follow all company, client, and project safety policies, procedures, and safe work practices </li><li>Participate in daily safety meetings, toolbox talks, field-level hazard assessments, and site orientations </li><li>Use required personal protective equipment at all times </li><li>Maintain awareness around mobile equipment, haul trucks, traffic, excavations, slopes, utilities, and chang- Location Prince Rupert, BC
