*Overview* We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the food and beverage industry, providing exceptional customer service while creating memorable experiences for our guests. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for mixing, garnishing, and serving drinks according to recipes or customer preferences, ensuring compliance with food safety standards. *Duties* * Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to customers in a timely manner. * Operate the POS system for order entry and payment processing. * Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including proper food handling and safety practices. * Engage with customers, providing excellent service and recommendations based on their preferences. * Handle cash transactions accurately, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed. * Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food items when applicable. * Monitor customer consumption of alcohol and adhere to responsible serving practices. * Keep inventory of bar supplies and assist in ordering when necessary. * Demonstrate effective time management skills during busy periods to ensure efficient service. *Qualifications* * Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred. * Familiarity with POS systems, particularly Squirrel POS, is a plus. * Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests. * Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and making change. * Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food handling techniques. * Excellent time management abilities to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. * A passion for hospitality and creating enjoyable experiences for customers.
