*Job Overview* We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Invoicing Specialist to support our HVAC and Plumbing services department. This role involves managing invoicing processes, ensuring accurate financial documentation, and providing exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate will have experience with various accounting software, strong data entry skills, and a solid understanding of bookkeeping and account reconciliation. This position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to a dynamic team focused on delivering high-quality financial services within the HVAC and Plumbing industry. *Responsibilities* * Prepare and process invoices using accounting software such as QuickBooks * Have a strong understanding and knowledge of HVAC and Plumbing jobs * Conduct detailed account analysis to identify discrepancies or issues within invoices * Maintain accurate data entry for all invoicing transactions * Collaborate with clients and techs to resolve billing inquiries through professional phone etiquette and customer service skills * Assist in bookkeeping tasks related to financial record keeping and reporting * Support month-end closing activities by verifying invoice accuracy and completing necessary documentation * Utilize negotiation skills when resolving billing disputes or discrepancies *Skills* * Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks * Strong knowledge of bookkeeping, account reconciliation, and account analysis processes * Experience with accounts payable and accounts receivable management * Excellent data entry skills with high attention to detail * Effective communication skills, including phone etiquette and customer service experience * Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret financial data accurately * Ability to perform mathematical calculations swiftly and accurately * Familiarity with financial services within the HVAC and Plumbing industries is a must * Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively * Experience in negotiation to resolve billing issues professionally Pay: $23.00-$26.00 per hour Benefits: * Dental care * On-site parking * RRSP match Work Location: In person
