*Role Overview* The production welder is responsible for fitting and welding according to specifications outlined on weldment drawings. *Duties and Responsibilities* Under the supervision of the Welding Supervisor, the duties and responsibilities of the production welder include, but are not limited to, the following: · Receives instructions and work orders from your supervisor; · Retrieves parts to be welded, correctly fits the parts and welds them according to drawing specifications · Ensures that work order quantities are correct, and properly fill out work orders · Work in a safety conscious manner; · Inspects product and ensures that weld quality meets specified requirements *Other* · Other duties as assigned. *Skills and Effort Requirements* · Strong English reading and writing skills; · Ability to understand basic math equations (i.e.: add, multiply, fractions, etc.); · Strong attention to detail; · Understands engineering drawings and weld specifications. · Formal welding training Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Pay: $27.00-$28.50 per hour Benefits: * Dental care * Extended health care * Life insurance * Vision care Experience: * Welding: 3 years (required) Work Location: In person- Location Seaforth, ON
