Headquartered in Stoney Creek, the plants have design, mold, paint, assembly and testing capabilities. Tiercon manages 5 sites across 2 cities employing approximately 550 people throughout Canada. Tiercon is seeking knowledgeable, self-directed, experienced and hardworking individuals interested in the automotive industry as a Maintenance Lead at our 352 Arvin Ave. Stoney Creek facility. </span></p><p><span style="font-size:12pt;font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;"><u>Job Summary & Reporting Structure: </u></span></p><p><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:12pt;">Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, the Industrial is responsible for performing and documenting all necessary maintenance and repairs for all production equipment and facilities, ensuring that plant and processing equipment is in safe and good working order. In addition, they will assist in the resolution of equipment problems and the installation of new equipment, and at all times, ensuring the ongoing adherence to the policies and procedures outlined in the Health and Safey, Quality and Environmental Systems and encouraging continuous improvement wherever possible. The Maintenance Lead will back up the Supervisor taking responsibility for their duties during absences and on off shifts. </span></p><p><span style="font-size:12pt;font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;"><u>Responsibilities:</u></span></p><ul style="list-style-type:circle;"><li><span style="font-size:12pt;font-family:Arial, sans-serif;">Act as the initial escalation point for maintenance activities. </span></li><li><span style="font-size:12pt;font-family:Arial, sans-serif;">Provide mentorship and guidance to maintenance apprentices.</span></li><li><span style="font-size:12pt;font-family:Arial, sans-serif;">Comply with all company health and safety regulations ensuring a safe work environment at all times and reporting accidents, incidents and known or potential hazards immediately.</span></li><li><span style="font-size:12pt;font-family:Arial, sans-serif;">Promote continuous improvement in all areas of Maintenance.</span></li><li><span style="font-size:12pt;font-family:Arial, sans-serif;">Support TPM system use. </span></li><li><span style="font-size:12pt;font-family:Arial, sans-serif;">Interpret the Canadian Electrical Safety Code to the satisfaction of the inspection department for all construction.</span></li><li><span style="font-size:12pt;font-family:Arial, sans-serif;">Daily perform and document scheduled maintenance as outlined on Maintenance Request logs; ensure safety issues are handled in timely manner Megamation</span></li><li><span style="font-size:12pt;font-family:Arial, sans-serif;">Support as a member of the team the installation of new equipment</span></li><li><span style="font-size:12pt;font-family:Arial, sans-serif;">Perform and document minor modifications and repairs to customer tooling with cross functional team.</span></li><li><span style="font-size:12pt;font-family:Arial, sans-serif;">Troubleshoot, optimize and maintain all PLC programs and equipment as appropriate. </span></li><li><span style="font-size:12pt;font-family:Arial, sans-serif;">Maintain an inventory of spare parts, components, and high-risk equipment.</span></li><li><span style="font-size:12pt;font-family:Arial, sans-- Location Hamilton, ON
