<p>Part-time; Seasonal</p><p>Date Posted: June 10, 2026</p><p><strong>Fair Beverage Bartender: </strong>$20.57/hour (PG74) plus 5% in lieu of benefits and vacation).</p><p><strong>Fair Beverage Busser: </strong>$18.54/hour (PG63) plus 5% in lieu of benefits and vacation).</p><p><strong>Why join our Fair Team?</strong></p><ul><li>We create memorable experiences, and we have fun doing it – join us!</li><li><strong>Base wage starts at $18.54/hr with 5% additional pay in lieu of vacation & other benefits, resulting in a total of $19.46/hour.</strong></li><li>Training and development - learn new skills and gain valuable work experience.</li><li>Career growth – <strong>opportunities for promotions</strong> and position transfers.</li><li>Opportunity to create lasting memories & friendships.</li><li>Great perks & employee rewards!</li><ul><li><strong>Employee discounts</strong> on passes to The Fair, as well as at all PNE Food Stands!</li><li>We want to recognize you – <strong>gift card rewards</strong> available all season long!</li></ul></ul><p><strong><br />What will you do this year?</strong></p><p>In your role as a <strong>Beverage Bartender & Busser,</strong> your primary accountabilities will be to:</p><ul><li>Dispense and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages during the Fair at the PNE.</li><li>Provide friendly and professional service while being an effective salesperson.</li><li>Process beverage orders efficiently and accurately.</li><li style="color: #333333;">Adhere to the rules and regulations outlined by Serving it Right.</li><li style="color: #333333;">Maintain the cleanliness and neatness of the restaurant, cafeteria, or beer garden.</li><li style="color: #333333;">Remove soiled dishes from tables and transport them to the kitchen or wash soiled dishes in the kitchen.</li><li style="color: #333333;">Provide exceptional and friendly guest service.</li></ul><p><strong>What else?</strong></p><ul><li>Must be at least 19 years of age or older due to licensing requirements.</li><li>Must have a valid Serving It Right Certificate.</li><li>Must be available for up to full-time hours from August 22 – September 7, including evenings and weekends.</li><li style="color: #333333;">Have an incredible ability to thrive in a fast-paced and high-volume environment while maintaining a first-in-class hospitality and food and beverage experience.</li><li style="color: #333333;">Must have familiarity with the methods, materials, and equipment used in food service areas.</li><li style="color: #333333;">Must have the ability to work efficiently and effectively during peak periods.</li></ul><p><strong>When will you work?</strong></p><ul><li><strong>Dates:</strong></li><ul><li>The PNE Fair runs from August 22<sup>nd</sup> – September 7<sup>th</sup>.</li><li>Training and orientation will take place throughout the 2 weeks prior to August 22<sup>nd </sup>depending on your department’s operational needs.</li></ul><li><strong>Hours</strong>:</li><ul><li>The PNE Fair is open from <strong>11AM – 11PM</strong> – with a variety of shifts available<strong>.</strong></li></ul><li><strong>Availability Requirements:</strong></li><ul><li>Must be available for up to full-time hours (40 hours per week) including evenings, weekends, and late nights from August 22<sup>nd</sup> – September 7<sup>th</sup>.</li></ul></ul><p><strong>How to Apply?</strong></p><p>Applications can be submitted via the PNE website at <a href="http://www.pne.ca/jobs" rel="noopener" target="_blank"><strong>www.pne.ca/jobs</strong></a> and will be accepted until the roles are filled.
