This is a full time permanent position with an opportunity to transition to a Manager role for the right candidate. *Responsibilities:* * Preparation of working paper files and financial statements for compilation and review engagements * Preparation of personal and corporate tax returns, trust returns and related schedules * Preparation of indirect tax returns and other compliance filings * Supervision of and revision of junior staff's work * Correspondence with clients and tax authorities on behalf of clients * Responding to CRA audits on behalf of clients *Qualifications and Characteristics:* * CPA designation or enrolled in CPA PEP, passed CFE and near designation * 3+ years experience in a public practice firm * Advanced knowledge of QuickBooks/Sage, Excel, Profile and CaseWare * Strong analytical and problem solving skills * Strong attention to detail * Excellent verbal and communication skills * Works well under pressure * Strong interest in public practice * Ability to converse in Mandarin and Cantonese is an asset We thank all candidates for their interest, but only those selected will be contacted for an interview.
