The City of Moose Jaw is seeking to fill temporary Sanitation Truck Driver position in the Environmental Services Branch, Operation Department Key Responsibilities:- Maintain and operate a City-owned vehicles and equipment related to solid waste collection, landfill operations, material management and diversion.- Obtain and hold the necessary driving license / equipment certification to perform assigned duties.- Utilize all personal protective equipment provided and perform the duties in a safe manner.- Tag, record and advise Supervisor or Crew Lead of any garbage and/or containers that do not comply with the Solid Waste Bylaw - Report on all minor and major repairs.- Work weekends and shift work as required. - Perform other related duties as assigned or required. Qualified applicants will possess:- Class 3A driver's license.- Physical ability to perform heavy manual Labour lifting up to 50 pounds.- Ability to direct and supervise other employees.- Ability to establish and maintain harmonious working relations with supervisors and other employees.- Ability to achieve certification on skid steer, front end loader and hook/roll off truck- Work courteously and tactfully with the general public.- Location Moose Jaw, SK
