*Job Summary* We are seeking a friendly and efficient *Barista* to join our team. This role involves preparing and serving high-quality bubble tea, smoothies milkshakes, other beverages and acai bowls, poke bowls and more. Providing excellent customer service, and supporting various operational tasks within our café. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the food industry, strong multitasking skills, and a commitment to creating a welcoming environment for all customers. *Duties* * Prepare and serve a variety of drinks, and other beverages using standard recipes and equipment * Operate POS systems, including Micros POS, for order processing and cash handling * Assist with food preparation and food safety procedures to ensure quality standards are maintained * Handle cashiering responsibilities including cash handling, basic math calculations, and processing transactions accurately * Serve customers in a friendly and professional manner, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly * *Maintain cleanliness* of workstations, dining areas, and equipment in compliance with food safety standards * Restock supplies as needed and assist with inventory management * Support team members with general tasks such as cleaning, organizing, and food service duties *Skills* * Previous barista experience preferred; familiarity with food industry standards is a plus * Proficiency in POS systems, for efficient transaction processing * Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse clientele * Excellent time management skills to handle busy periods effectively * Basic math skills for cash handling and transaction accuracy * Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures *food handling certificate required * * Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment * Serving experience is advantageous but not mandatory; willingness to learn is essential This position offers an engaging work environment where teamwork, professionalism, and customer satisfaction are valued.
