<b>Job Description</b><br><span id="spandesc"><div>The Inside Sales position is responsible for providing comprehensive sales and customer support. This position plays a critical role in supporting team members across various departments while enhancing the service experience for our Builder Partners. As a key point of contact, Inside Sales ensures smooth and efficient communication with the Design team to help expedite quote and order processes. <br/></div><div><br/></div><div>Hours of Work: Monday-Friday<br/></div><div>Wage: $25-$26, negotiable depending on experience</div><div><br/></div><div><b>Job Responsibilities and Requirements:</b><br/></div><div>Sales Process Management:<br/></div><ul><li><span>Maintain proficiency in MiTek Sapphire and Management software.<br/></span></li><li><span>Oversee and execute the sales process for engineered wood products (EWP) and roof trusses.<br/></span></li><li><span>Enter and manage all job and quote data using the company's Management Software (e.g., MiTek).<br/></span></li><li><span>Price projects accurately, based on current contracts, lumber files ensuring alignment with profitability goals.<br/></span></li><li><span>Ensure timely communication with customers regarding design lead times and permitting.<br/></span></li></ul><div>Customer and Team Support:<br/></div><ul><li><span>Build strong relationships with Builder Partners, and Contractors through professional communication.<br/></span></li><li><span>Maintain up-to-date knowledge on product inventory, production turnaround times,<br/></span></li><li><span>and pricing for engineered wood products and garages.<br/></span></li><li><span>Provide accurate pricing, documentation, and support to Sales, Design, and Production teams.<br/></span></li><li><span>Respond to customer inquiries, resolve issues, and provide technical knowledge related to EWP, roof and floor trusses.<br/></span></li><li><span>Support communication between internal teams (Sales, Design, Production) to ensure efficiency in operations and processes.<br/></span></li></ul><div>Administrative and Design Coordination:<br/></div><ul><li><span>Enter and maintain customer data in the project management system, ensuring accuracy and proper follow-up on outstanding items.<br/></span></li><li><span>Review, send layouts and permitting documents to customers.<br/></span></li><li><span>Collaborate with the Design team to ensure quotes and orders are processed efficiently.<br/></span></li><li><span>Request engineering services (e.g., Tall Wall engineering) and load material orders into Management Software.<br/></span></li></ul><div>Strategic Development and Growth:<br/></div><ul><li><span>Support sales and growth initiatives by identifying opportunities for process improvement and innovation.<br/></span></li><li><span>Assist in developing new strategies for market share growth, particularly in Southern Alberta.<br/></span></li><li><span>Participate in sales strategy sessions and contribute to ongoing development plans for the sales team.<br/></span></li></ul><div>Team Collaboration:<br/></div><ul><li><span>Provide leadership and mentorship to the Sales team, fostering a positive, collaborative environment.<br/></span></li><li><span>Assist with onboarding new team members and supporting continuous professional development.<br/></span></li><li><span>Work with the VP of Sales and Operations, Production Manager, and other stakeholders to streamline processes and improve customer service.<br/></span></li><li><span>Other duties as assigned. <br/></span></li></ul><div><b>Qualifications:</b><br/></div><ul><li><span>Post-secondary education in a relevant field (e.g. business) or equivalent experience.<br/></span></li><li><span>Minimum 3-5 years of experience in sales or customer support within the construction or building materials industry.<br/></span></li><li><span>Knowledge- Location Lethbridge, AB
